Welcome to Clay Drive! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our online platform and the luxury car rental services provided by Clay Drive. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Definitions

• "Clay Drive," "we," "us," or "our" refers to the premium car rental company.
• "You" or "customer" refers to the individual or entity booking or using our services.
• "Vehicle" refers to any BMW or other luxury car rented from Clay Drive.
• "Services" includes BMW car rental, luxury vehicle hire, short-term and long-term rentals, corporate car solutions, and chauffeur services.
• "Online Platform" refers to our website and any related online services for browsing and booking vehicles.

2. Eligibility for Rental

To rent a vehicle from Clay Drive, you must:

• Be at least 25 years old (age restrictions may vary for certain luxury models).
• Possess a valid full driving license held for a minimum of 2 years. International driving permits may be required for non-UK/Ireland license holders.
• Provide valid identification (e.g., passport) and proof of address.
• Pass our eligibility checks and provide necessary security deposits.

3. Booking and Reservations

• All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation by Clay Drive.
• A reservation requires a deposit, which will be specified at the time of booking.
• Prices are quoted in the local currency and include standard insurance (excess may apply). Additional insurance options are available.
• Cancellations made within a specified period (e.g., 48 hours) before the rental start may incur charges. Please refer to our cancellation policy specific to your booking.

4. Vehicle Usage and Responsibilities

• The customer is responsible for checking the vehicle's condition upon collection and reporting any existing damage.
• Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as collected, save for reasonable wear and tear.
• Fuel policy: Vehicles are typically supplied with a full tank and must be returned full. Charges will apply for un-filled tanks.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles. A cleaning fee will be charged if this policy is violated.
• The vehicle must not be taken outside the agreed geographical boundaries without prior written consent from Clay Drive.
• The customer is responsible for all fines, penalties, and charges incurred during the rental period (e.g., parking, speeding, congestion charges).

5. Insurance and Liability

• All vehicles come with comprehensive insurance coverage, subject to an excess amount. The customer is liable for this excess in the event of damage or theft.
• Optional waivers to reduce or eliminate the insurance excess may be available for purchase.
• Any accident or damage to the vehicle must be reported to Clay Drive immediately and to the police if necessary.
• Customers are not covered by our insurance if they breach any terms of the rental agreement or use the vehicle for prohibited activities.

6. Chauffeur Services

For chauffeur services:

• Bookings must be made in advance and confirmed by Clay Drive.
• Waiting times beyond a grace period may incur additional charges.

7. Amendments to Terms

Clay Drive reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our online platform, and your continued use of our services will constitute acceptance of the new terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
